Following the success of their album Alchemy, which earned the band a nomination for the Czech Grammy Awards 2023, Tomáš Sýkora Trio & Aid Kid return with a new repertoire and a work-in-progress album that defines the next chapter of their artistic journey.
The band transforms its original creative vision into a more direct and hard-hitting form. At the core of their distinctive sound lies the unique character of the electric piano and relentlessly driving grooves inspired by the aesthetics of legendary groove bands of the 1970s. This retro-futuristic blend is enriched by the subtle integration of live electronics, adding a contemporary dimension and organic depth to the music.
