As a jazz pianist
Tomáš has been successfully touring with his solo piano project Song and Old Forms (combining classical music and jazz) in the Czech Republic and also abroad (USA, EU). This project features an original program with a lyrical character, rich harmony and a significant emphasis of improvisation. The repertoire seamlessly merges pieces from his previous album Songs and Old Forms with material from the new project Inventions & Textures. The result is a cohesive program that connects solid composition with the free development of musical themes in real-time.
